5. Your lighting becomes flexible and versatile, creating various scenarios.

How to distribute the tracks and spotlights on the ceiling of your home?

First, a good lighting project needs to be thought of together with the distribution and design of the furniture so that the project is functional and personalized to your daily needs.

Second, you need to choose, together with your architect and/or interior designer, the arrangement of the furniture and finally, the arrangement of the light points.

Lighting is important to help you with your daily tasks and highlight your decoration.

How many LED tracks and spotlights should I install?

Here at YustDesign, we have 50cm, 1m and 2m tracks, however, the tracks can be any size you want or even whatever your environment needs, since it is possible to connect the tracks using connectors that can be in “L” or “Straight” shapes.

When arranging the tracks, just choose the spot and the LED power that best suits your environment.

How to choose a Track Spot
First of all, you need to know which is the best track model and the length needed for your environment, then the spots that are best suited for your environment.

At YustDesign, there are universal fitting electrified track spots that may or may not come with LED light.

How many bulbs or spots are needed?

It is recommended to have 4 to 5, but it depends a lot on the project. As previously mentioned, the electrified LED track can be an infinite number of meters long, just by attaching the connectors.

There are ready-made options with tracks with 2 LED spots, tracks with 3 and even 4 LED spots.
Tips for using LED Tracks and Spotlights:

Track and Spotlight Position

Some models here at YustDesign have a spotlight that you can direct to various angles, such as 90° and 360°, for example.

Likewise, if the spotlight is a spotlight, it needs to be well adjusted since it is not as easy to direct as square or round spotlights with directional beams.

In bathrooms and kitchens, the best position is definitely in the center of the sink or countertop. Use the center of the sink as a reference or the length of the countertop. Avoid LED spotlights on televisions and smooth surfaces so that the light does not refract and make the lighting uncomfortable.

Lighting and Savings with Spots and Tracklights

First of all, for stronger and more general lighting, try using ceiling lights together with LED tracks and spotlights. Surface-mounted lighting (ceiling lights) emit general and diffuse light, while spotlights can help to enhance works of art, textures and architectural details.

Distance between spotlights

Spots should be spaced an average of 75 centimeters to 1 meter apart.

First of all, for spotlights placed in the corners of rooms, a distance of 20 to 30 cm should be maintained from the wall, and finally, for non-directional spotlights, a distance of 10 to 15 cm for directional spotlights.

LED SPOT

In principle, LED spotlights are small luminaires with a concentrated beam of light that can be square or round. Likewise, it is a complementary lighting, that is, if you do not have a defined lighting project, I try to use it only as a complementary light source.

LED spotlights can certainly be installed recessed in plaster or wooden ceilings and even above slabs.

Where to use LED spotlights?

Bedroom: bedside or reading light;
Kitchen: countertop lighting;
Bathroom: sink and mirror lighting;
Living room: accent light for the preferred space;
Can be used on furniture such as wardrobes, shelves and niches. Directed lighting helps to visualize objects!
